Alison gained a degree from Newport Art College in the 1980s and has been painting ever since. Her work is to be found in many homes and businesses around the UK and overseas, including both canvas-mounted paintings and murals; she has also spent many years teaching art. More latterly she has been drawn to simplifying her style to the basic elements of colour and line, with the aim of communicating the essence of a subject with simplicity and clarity.
