Ceri has a varied background in art, working with a broad range of materials. Having completed a BTEC National Diploma in General Art and Design (Herefordshire College of Art and Design), she then went on to gain a HND in Metalcrafts (Plymouth University), and a BA(Hons) Degree 3D Design Silversmithing and Jewellery (De Montfort University, Leicester). On completion of her degree, Ceri taught jewellery at a summer camp in America, and continued jewellery making on her return to Wales. For the next six years, Ceri worked as a Designer Engraver at The Royal Mint, where she designed coins and medals, and completed bas-relief plaster models for the production of coins and medals, for worldwide circulation. Ceri proceeded on to gain a PGCE in Art and Design, and has worked as a Secondary School Art teacher.
