Brazilian born Susan worked as an illustartor for several years before becoming a freelancer working in the areas of costume, textiles, fashion, theatre set designs and murals.
In the artist's own words:
"I have always been close to Nature, as a result, the natural environment has been reflected onto my canvasses. Subsenquently, the mystery of the forests with their unique sounds, forms and colours awakened the feelings of wonder and inspired me to distil this beauty onto canvasses.
My work in inspired by nature and designed to invoke the feelings of calmness and serenity. The Forest is an inspiration. It is an ideal of balance, clarity and purity found in our beautiful, enchanted World."
