Jayne Ward from Warren Row, trained at Kingston College of Art and worked in the textile industry before becoming an Interior Designer on a freelance basis. In 2008 she was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Jayne's lifelong fascination with fabric, its colour and texture, is at the heart of her work as a textile artist. Her artworks involve machine-stitching, painting and collaging vintage fabrics onto hand-made paper. "I use the sewing machine as other artists would use a pencil".
