Leyla Murr is a prolific expressionist painter who engages colour in all her work. It is through her ability to express experiences like a feeling, a fragment of memory or a visual impression in an un-prescribed way, that a flow of creativity is allowed to emerge. Every painting reflects a journey of introspective spontaneity during which the artist engages all here senses. Every work is a product of a unique creative process. Leyla's work can be viewed in a number of reputable galleries in the UK, private collections in the US, Spain, Ireland , Norway, Middle East and Croatia. Recently Anstey Gallery in Harrogate organized a solo show and her work was chosen for an exhibition at The Mall Galleries, London. Leyla was born in Croatia and lives and works in Yorkshire.
