Sian is a British artist living in rural west Wales. While studying graphic design in Falmouth she discovered the beauty of photography and later completed a BA in photography through Cardiff University. Sian is strongly influenced by art novo, art deco, and art from the 50’s and 60’s. The simplicity yet impact of some of the work produced during these times and how they thought out side the box creatively. She has experimented with different medium over the years and is inspired by subject matter that she feels passionate about. Primarily her love of nature, life and how things are not always as they seem. What fascinates Sian is how individuals can see the same thing and interpret it in such different ways, and how age and life experiences can also play such a fundamental role … She feels it is always important to keep the inquisitiveness of our inner child alive.
