Natalie creates pictures as a means to express what she sees. She is inspired by the human figure, a moment in time, a landscape or an interesting composition. Natalie begins a piece by seeing a line, a rhythm something that fires me up. Then the colours work their magic and the paper, canvas or lens creates the compositional boundaries. She immerses herself until the energy of the subject is wholly within the work. She knows a work is finished when it has a peace about it but is still fresh.
